Over a 30-year career in banking with leading global institutions, he acted as the trusted advisor to many prominent and affluent Indian families.

Formerly a Managing Director and Investment Partner at Credit Suisse AG, Sanjay spent 9 years with the Swiss Banking Group in London, Zurich and Dubai. During his time at Credit Suisse, he was responsible for overseeing and executing several major transactions and kept his focus on all pillars of banking including investment, corporate and private banking. Prior to Credit Suisse, Sanjay spent 8 years at Merrill Lynch as a Senior Vice-President and 13 years at the RBS Group.

Sanjay was responsible for a number of Structured Finance transactions in excess of $1 billion for Indian corporates in a variety of sectors ranging like Natural Resources, Industrials, Media, Entertainment, etc. Notable deals overseen and executed by him include the landmark $500 million European Investment Bank loan to Tata Motors in 2010 that was structured with the guarantee of a number of International and Indian Banks as well as several other major transactions for Tata Motors/JLR; the merger of Vedanta with Cairn India in 2015; and the $900 million bond issuance for the Vedanta Resources group in 2011.

Sanjay is a British Citizen living in London with his wife and 2 children.
